The need and importance of the dish has increased a lot in today's modern age. Although cable networks are running in cities and nowadays even in rural areas, you cannot watch your favourite channels on the cable network as cable operators are also subordinate to PEMRA and without their approval, they can't broadcast any channel on cable. So, for this purpose we can watch our favourite channel by placing the dish in our home and office.

In Pakistan this satellite is not received for less than a dish of about 6 feet because this satellite is far way and its beam is very weak so first you have to take a dish of 6 feet then you will be able to set it. 

Folow the instructions below to set up the Hotbird Satellite

2.  Keeping the LNB position slightly sloping, means you stand on the back side of the dish and set the LNB. The easiest way is to see the wire coming out of the LNB on the left side.

3.  The position of the Hotbird satellite is 13 degrees east. If you don't have a satellite finder or you don't know the position of the Hotbird, the easiest way is to set the dish in the direction where the sun set in summer. Your dish will be easily set.

5. After receiving the frequency signal, go to the receiver's settings and do a blind search. All your channels will be received.
